The Sun 21 is an Aquabus C60 catamaran designed by MW-Line, which made the first Atlantic crossing fuelled only by solar power in 2007!
Raphaël Domjan was on the Sun21 as it left the port of Basel, then in the Caribbean, and finally when it arrived in New York. These solar-powered crossings enabled him to gain the experience required for PlanetSolar adventure.
A data logger was also fitted for the future development of the solar routing software for PlanetSolar.
